Bragg Gaming announced that it will integrate its gaming content at Fanatics Casino in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

Fanatics Casino recently launched its standalone app in the three states, as well as West Virginia. A press release announcing the partnership claims Fanatics is “America’s fastest-growing online casino.”

Kieron Shaw, Manager of the company’s Casino Games Content commented: “We’re thrilled to partner with Bragg Gaming Group to bring their diverse and engaging iGaming content to our players in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.”

“This collaboration is a significant step in our strategy to expand our iGaming offerings and capitalize on the substantial growth projected for these key markets.

“Bragg’s impressive catalogue, including titles from Wild Streak Gaming and their third-party studio partners, along with their innovative promotional tools, will undoubtedly enhance the gaming experience for our users and help us springboard our presence across these important states.”

Fanatics Expansion In Gambling Industry Continues

Fanatics Betting and Gaming launched in 2021, and the company accelerated its growth in the market through the acquisition of PointsBet in 2023

The company now says that “Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S.”

The launch of the Fanatics Casino app and partnership with Bragg marks an increased focus on the lucrative iGaming market.

Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey online casinos all generated over $2 billion in gross gaming revenue last year.

Fanatics is estimated to hold roughly 5% of the market share in the three states, trailing behind leading operators BetMGM, FanDuel, and DraftKings. Together, these three operators have between 70-80% of the online casino market.

The company hopes the launch of its standalone app and integration of Bragg’s games can close the gap on the gaming giants.

Bragg Expanding Its Reach In US Market

The deal also continues Bragg Gaming’s expansion into the US casino market. The company expanded its partnership with Caesars earlier this year and announced last month that it had signed a deal with Hard Rock Bet to develop exclusive online casino games.

The company also provides its gaming services to BetMGM at its online casinos in Pennsylvania.

Commenting on the deal with Fanatics, Matevz Mazij, CEO of Bragg Gaming Group, stated, “With its history of connecting sports fans with merchandise they love and with sports betting and the strong cross-sell between sports betting and iGaming, this launch represents a great opportunity to showcase Bragg’s amazing titles across the three biggest iGaming markets in the U.S.”

“We look forward to developing our relationship as a key partner of Fanatics Betting and Gaming in the North American market as we continue the roll-out with regular new game releases planned.”

In addition to expanding its presence in North America, the company has entered into the newly regulated market in Brazil and other Latin American markets.

In total, the company says it “is licensed, certified, or otherwise approved and operational in over 30 regulated iCasino markets globally,” with a significant presence in Europe as well as the Americas.

Caesars Digital has expanded its partnership with Bragg Gaming Group, with the igaming supplier’s games and remote gaming server going live with the operator in Pennsylvania and Ontario.

The launches in the North American markets follow previous collaborations from Bragg and Caesars in New Jersey and Michigan, growing the reach of the supplier’s content on the Caesars Palace Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino platforms.

Ricardo Cornejo Rivas, Vice President of Online Gaming at Caesars Digital, commented: “Expanding our catalogue of best-in-class online casino content remains a focus for us. We are proud of our partnership with Bragg, and this expansion is a positive step forward in our journey to bring an elevated experience to our online casino players.”

Through the deal, Caesars’ online casino players in Pennsylvania and Ontario will be able to play Bragg games, including titles featuring the operator’s IP, “Boardwalk Slots Bankers & Cash” and “Lady Luck Egyptian Magic”.

Titles from Bragg’s multiple studio partners, including Incredible Technologies, Bluberi, King Show Games and Sega Sammy Creation, will also be available, as well as titles from the Atomic Slot Lab studio such as “Cai Fu Emperor Ways” and “Queenie” among others.

All online casino games provided via Bragg’s RGS technology come with Fuze promotional tools, which offer player engagement features on games such as free rounds, tournaments and quests.

Garrick Morris, Senior Vice President of Commercial for the US and Canada at Bragg Gaming, added: “We’re delighted to be able to build on our existing relationship with Caesars Digital to include these new regulated jurisdictions which are both very exciting and very important markets for Bragg.”

Earlier this month, Bragg CEO Matevž Mazij showed confidence in the company’s second half of the year and 2025 outlook, following a Q2 financial period where a new quarterly record was achieved.

Mazij added that the provider has diversified its business over various growing igaming markets and product verticals. However, gross profit and adjusted EBITDA were down in comparison to the same period the previous year.

In July, Caesars Entertainment reported its Q2 results, declaring a new Q2 adjusted EBITDA record for its Caesars Digital segment but also a significant total net loss for the quarter.

Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars, expressed the company’s optimism for the balance of 2024 due to “strong operating trends” from Las Vegas and Digital and the “expected openings of the permanent facility in Danville”, coupled with its $430m capital investment in its rebranded Caesars New Orleans.

With comings and goings commonplace across the industry, Star Entertainment, Citizen and San Manuel are among those to have bolstered their teams with key hires.

GeoComply

GeoComply has detailed a pair of appointments that will be charged with shaping the group’s continued growth strategies as further expansion is eyed.

The first of these sees Lindsey Drake become Chief Financial Officer, where she will oversee operations that include financial planning, budgeting and capital management.

In addition, Kelly Schaefer joins as Chief Human Resources Officer to spearhead the company’s HR strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, development, and engagement.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lindsey and Kelly to the GeoComply team,” commented Anna Sainsbury, GeoComply’s CEO.

“Their extensive expertise and leadership in their respective fields will be instrumental in guiding our financial strategy and strengthening our talent capabilities.

“As we continue to expand our market presence and develop groundbreaking cybersecurity solutions, their contributions will be critical in driving our growth and further solidifying our position as a global leader.”

Quick Custom Intelligence

Jarvis, a generative AI rules engine that talks to four target operational systems, has been deployed as the Chief Operating Officer of Quick Customer Intelligence.

The company, which specialises in such technologies, will be responsible for project management, task escalation and currently reads and processes all of the CEO’s emails.

Ralph Thomas, CEO of QCI, explained: “Our growth is enabled by generative AI, this democratises our company by allowing organisation and management skills to be facilitated, thus empowering our team members and removing the need for an additional management layer.

“Jarvis is at the centre of our system and his interface provides for a single view to all systems running the QCI business.

“This arms our team members with algorithm driven analysis of issues and challenges and gives them the tools to reach a quick and efficient resolution.”

Bragg Gaming

Chris Looney has announced his departure from Bragg Gaming Group, where he held the position of Chief Commercial Officer for a two and a quarter year stint.

However, the former Red Tiger Commercial Director, who was also previously at Microgaming for almost nine years, has stressed confidence that the company “is very well set up for continued growth”.

He wrote: “A heartfelt thank you to all of my friends and colleagues at Bragg Gaming for making the last two years fun and exciting – there are too many names to mention individually.

“It’s been tough but we’ve changed the face of the business, created a super successful content vertical, hit huge milestones and grown exponentially into new markets with all products. And of course there is the run club

“We’ve forged great relationships with customers on both sides of the pond and I personally look forward to reconnecting again in the future.”

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians

Simon Fothergill has been appointed as Chief Information & Technology Officer at the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.

In the role, he will report to Brigitte Saria, Chief People & Infrastructure Officer, in overseeing the development, continued growth and strategic execution of the technology roadmap for gaming, hospitality and entertainment, as well as the tribe’s future business endeavours.

He initially joined San Manuel in 2019 as Vice President of Information Technology Business Services, when he was responsible for identifying talent, innovative technology, products, and systems in preparation to scale and innovate for the opening of Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel

“It’s an honour to be given this responsibility and an exciting opportunity to be tasked with executing the tribe’s vision,” Fothergill said.

Star Entertainment Group

Star Entertainment Group has suggested that it has completed an ongoing board renewal program following the appointment of Peter Hodgson as a Non-Executive Director.

The beleaguered casino group, which has faced regulatory action across Australian states and also has AUSTRAC action and class action lawsuits pending, initiated a board overhaul last year.

Hodgson will join the board immediately upon the receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals. In the interim he will serve as a board observer.

David Foster, The Star’s Chair, noted: “On behalf of the board, I welcome Peter to The Star. With his extensive commercial, governance and risk management experience, Peter is well positioned to contribute to The Star’s remediation and transformation.”

Citizen

Dr Toby Sucharov has been appointed Chief Technology Officer of Citizen – a payment services provider to the igaming industry.

He had previously served as Playtech’s Head of UK Innovation and as Head of Games Platform as a Service.

“As Citizen gears up for more growth as we enter the second half of 2023, it is vital that we have the best leadership team in place to support and drive the business forward,” commented James Neville, Co-Founder and CEO of Citizen.

“Toby brings a great wealth of experience from the igaming sector and in scaling-up technology solutions, and we look forward to working with him on our mission to simplify the way we pay by leveraging innovations in alternative payment methods.”

Atlas-IAC

Atlas-IAC has hired Miloslav Ivanov as the latest member of its senior management team, with this latest addition taking on the role of Chief Sales Officer.

One of Ivanov’s primary responsibilities will be to establish strong partnerships with Atlas’ global client base, playing a role in its plans for continued growth throughout 2023.

On his new role, he remarked: “I am thrilled to be joining such an upwardly mobile brand in Atlas-IAC. The company has such a talented team and I am sure we will do great things together.

“Our aim will be to continue with our expansion across regulated territories with a huge focus on the LatAm market.”

Bragg Gaming has expanded its presence in the US’ igaming space, in addition to deepening an ongoing partnership, after rolling-out content alongside Caesars in New Jersey.

In the latest stage of the group’s North American expansion strategy, customers of Caesars’ online casino offering will be able to access a raft of proprietary and third-party titles.

The former will see content such as Egyptian Magic, Fairy Dust and the Girl with the Golden Eyes from Bragg’s Atomic Slot Lab studio go live, which will be complemented by exclusive offerings from the company’s partner studios.

Bragg Gaming has added a fresh jurisdiction to its burgeoning roster after Belgium became the group’s latest European market entry in partnership with Napoleon Sports and Casino.

This will see the igaming group take its range of igaming content live with the Superbet Group brand, with Bragg looking to establish a strong profile among Belgian players. The company’s entry into the region follows licence acquisition being received last year.

Philippe Joos, CPO at Napoleon Sports and Casino, noted: “Bragg’s reputation in igaming is renowned and its provision goes from strength to strength, so this partnership is a natural fit for an innovative and forward-looking operator like Napoleon Sports and Casino.

“We are on a mission to provide our players with the most thrilling and responsible entertainment in a safe and protected environment. This collaboration fits perfectly with that goal as we’ll be able to provide titles that speak for themselves in terms of quality and we’re confident our players will see that too.”

The online casino market in Belgium was estimated to be worth $395m in 2022 according to H2 Gambling Capital and, Bragg noted, represents further opportunity to drive growth in a number of key regions.

“It’s always exciting to go live in a new jurisdiction, and particularly so when it’s with a market leader like Napoleon Sports and Casino,” stated Lara Falzon, President and Chief Operating Officer at Bragg Gaming.

“We’re proud to continue to deliver on our new market expansion strategy, and it is a testament to the hard work of our teams and the quality of our product offering that we can align with so many at the forefront of the industry. I look forward to a fruitful relationship with Napoleon Sports and Casino as we roll out our exclusive content in Belgium.”

First Look Games has joined forces with Bragg Gaming to boost the latter’s affiliate offering and B2C game promotion.

The deal will allow the igaming provider to distribute information and assets, for both its in-house and partner studios, for the purpose of gaining B2C traction and visibility on game launches for studios such as Atomic Slot Lab and Indigo Magic

Moreover, this deal would also include selected Bragg partners, who will all gain access to more than 800 approved affiliates and publishers across the globe.

Niklas Mravlje, Director of Product Marketing at Bragg Gaming, explained: “This is an important step for Bragg Studios and for our studio partners from the Powered by Bragg range, allowing us to ramp up the visibility of our rapidly expanding games portfolio to an even bigger audience.

“Competition for player attention is incredibly fierce among studios, and First Look Games will help us to be heard above the noise being made by our rivals and to drive awareness of the Bragg name, our collection of studios and the thrilling titles that we produce.”

As a First Look Games partner, Bragg Gaming can upload game sheets, logos, images, videos and even demo games for each of its slot titles to a dedicated library. These assets can then be downloaded by FGL-approved affiliates, either individually or in bulk.

Publishers use this information to create game reviews and other traffic-generating content about the studio and its game portfolio, which are then published across a combined global audience of more than 20 million players.

Bragg can also decide what information it shares with affiliates and when that information is made available to them. Compliance is ensured via a suite of tools, including a free age-gate for relevant markets and the automatic accuracy monitoring of published content.

Tom Galanis, Founder of First Look Games, added: “Bragg Gaming is a major igaming content provider, and we’re thrilled to be helping to ramp up the promotion of games developed on its remote gaming server via our network.

“Affiliates present a massive opportunity for studios to drive awareness of their titles among huge audiences of engaged online casino players around the world. First Look Games does much of the heavy lifting, allowing the likes of Bragg to engage this significant audience easily and cost-effectively.”

Bragg Gaming Group has maintained the momentum of strategic North American expansion after launching new content and technology alongside BetMGM in Michigan.

This becomes the latest such undertaking by the company, following a similar move with Rush Street Interactive in New Jersey, and sees the offerings live at six online casino operators across three North American markets.

This will see proprietary content such as Egyptian Magic from Bragg’s Atomic Slot Lab, as well as new exclusive titles from partner studios, become available to BetMGM’s customers following the launch of the firm’s remote games server technology with the operator.

The rollout of the new content and tech with BetMGM is an extension of an existing collaboration between Bragg’s Spin Games studio and the operator, which has been in place for several years across New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

According to H2 Gambling Capital, the online casino market in Michigan is on track to generate gross win of over $1.5bn during the current year. Furthermore, Eilers & Krejcik Gaming placed BetMGM as the market leader with a 38 per cent share.

Lara Falzon, President and Chief Operating Officer for Bragg Gaming Group, explained: “We have placed an emphasis on expanding our existing relationships with North American igaming operators to include content from the new proprietary studios we launched this year, as well as exclusive games from our latest third-party studio collaborations.

“This new launch with BetMGM further expands on our successful execution of this strategy, which we expect will help drive consistent, long-term growth.

“We are pleased to build on our existing relationship with BetMGM and look forward to providing them with content that helps them continue engaging with their existing players at high levels and attract new players.”

Last month, Bragg asserted that it was looking to maintain operating momentum into the remainder of the year and beyond after reflecting on the “steady progress” continuing to be made due to a number of “strategic initiatives”.

This came as the group reported a 62.3 per cent year-on-year revenue increase to $20.9m from the $12.9m recorded through 2021.

Wagering revenue rose 43.75 per cent to $4.6bn (2021: $3.2bn) which Bragg noted reflects a change in product mix towards PAM, managed services and proprietary content.

Bragg Gaming has strengthened a long-standing collaboration with Rush Street Interactive after launching further content and tech alongside the group in New Jersey.

In the latest expansion of the group’s footprint in the US, this has seen exclusive content from the former’s Atomic Lab Studio become available via the BetRivers online sports betting and igaming brand following the first launch of Bragg’s RGS in the state.

As a result, this deployment will also enable further titles from Bragg’s US content roadmap to be rolled-out, which will include games from proprietary studios Atomic Slot Lab and Indigo Magic.

Moreover, this will also include exclusive content from Galaxy Gaming, Bluberi and Incredible Technologies, as well as partner studios Sega Sammy Creation, King Show Games and Gaming Arts during 2023.

Richard Schwartz, Chief Executive Officer at Rush Street Interactive, noted: “From our experience of working with Bragg in a number of markets, we know that its slot content is of the highest quality and resonates well with our players.

“We are pleased to launch the portfolio in New Jersey at Betrivers.com to further enhance and strengthen our partnership and bring our BetRivers customers more best-in-class casino content.”

The roll-out with RSI in New Jersey is an extension of an existing collaboration between the two online gaming companies in North America, with Bragg launching its RGS tech and content with the operator in Ontario and Michigan earlier this year.

Lara Falzon, President and Chief Operating Officer for Bragg Gaming Group, explained: “We already see strong demand for our games in New Jersey, where our Wild Streak Gaming and Spin Games studios have been live for several years.

“Now this rollout of our new RGS technology in the market with RSI’s BetRivers brand unlocks our rich new US content roadmap to a new group of players.

“We are pleased to extend our long-standing partnership with Rush Street Interactive whose well-established brands and broad reach make it the perfect partner for us as we set out to further grow our presence in North America and introduce our premium content to local audiences.”
