Design Works Gaming has expanded into the Canadian igaming market with the launch of its content with Caesars Digital in Ontario.

Through the partnership, games from DWG have gone live in the Canadian province on the operator’s Caesars Palace Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino platforms.

As part of DWG’s broader global growth strategy, Caesars Digital will be the supplier’s pilot partner in the region as it enters the province’s igaming market.

“Launching in Ontario has been a moment we’ve eagerly awaited at DWG, and we could not have asked for a better partner than Caesars Digital to make it a reality,” commented Troy Zurawski, Founder and CEO of Design Works Gaming.

“Working with the entire Caesars Digital team has been an amazing experience. We’re honoured that they’ve entrusted us with the opportunity to build custom games with the iconic Caesars brand, and Caesars Digital shares our passion for producing the best online casino products on the market.”

Elsewhere in North America, DWG and Caesars Digital already have partnerships in place across the US in the states of Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Ricardo Cornejo Rivas, Vice President of Online Gaming at Caesars Digital, added: “Partnering with DWG has brought exciting new content to our online casino players in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and now Ontario.

“From custom Caesars-branded games to classic favourites, we’re glad to bring more content to our gaming catalogue that can provide an elevated and enjoyable experience to our players.”

Design Works Gaming has targeted players in the Keystone State by hosting its online casino titles on BetMGM Casino’s Pennsylvanian offering.

Building on a collaboration that has seen DWG’s games taken live via BetMGM in New Jersey and Michigan, the supplier’s range of proprietary slots and LuckyTape games will be available to the operator’s Pennsylvania player base.

Troy Zurawski, CEO and Founder of DWG, commented: “Our collaboration with the BetMGM team has been nothing short of incredible. Together, we’ve worked tirelessly to create unique, exciting bespoke content that brings a new level of excitement to players.

“This launch is a testament to the strong bond we’ve built and the shared commitment to delivering top-tier gaming experiences.”

BetMGM’s Pennsylvanian players will benefit from DWG’s range of bespoke titles that use branding from one of the state’s most successful NFL teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Now, fans of the side within the state will be able to access Pittsburgh Steelers Big Kick LuckyTap and Pittsburgh Steelers QB Blast LuckyTap via BetMGM’s Keystone State-facing online casino platform.

Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM Vice President of Gaming Product & Content, added: “It’s always a joy collaborating with DWG. BetMGM players enjoy the LuckyTap suite of games which is a great fit for our new arcade product that launched in New Jersey and will be in other states soon.

“We are proud to be the destination for the biggest selection of exclusive games developed in partnership with the talented DWG team.”

Design Works Gaming has made further headway into New Jersey’s online casino space after teaming-up with Hard Rock Bet is what is hailed as “another major partnership”.

This will see the operator’s revamped offering, which is charged with elevating the entertainment experience across both retail and online, house a raft of the igaming supplier’s content suite.

Among these will be a selection of titles that have regularly been cited by Eilers-Fantini in their monthly online game performance report, which tracks igaming’s performance in the Garden State, as well as Michigan, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

“Hard Rock’s iconic brand and reputation combined with DWG’s high-performing content is a winning combination,” noted Troy Zurawski, DWG CEO.

“The partnership is a logical next step for both of us as we each look to further scale our presence in New Jersey. The Hard Rock team has nearly 50 years of experience providing world-class entertainment, so they know what to deliver to keep their players coming back for more. And our content is proven to do just that.”

Under the terms of the agreement, New Jersey-based Hard Rock players will gain titles such as Armadillo Artie Gone Wild and Tiger Palace. Additional content will also become available over the coming months, including DWG’s LuckyTap titles and Vegas-style steppers.

The Hard Rock Bet platform, which replaced the group’s rebranded sportsbook and online casino offerings earlier in the year, is hailed as representing an “important milestone” in the group’s ongoing quest to gain ground in the US’ digital arena.

“Our Hard Rock Bet online casino has been a hit so far in New Jersey with the addition of more casino games – hundreds more – to our all-new, easy-to-use app and web experiences,” stated Grant Williams, Hard Rock Digital SVP of Casino.

“We’re excited for the addition of DWG’s popular titles to our robust gaming portfolio and to continue adding more games each month to entertain our players like no one else can.”

Design Works Gaming is aiming to capitalise on Sky Betting & Gaming’s “prominence and influence in the UK gaming market” after disclosing a fresh commercial tie-up.

As the online casino content supplier looks to take its igaming suite “to an even greater audience”, the Flutter Entertainment entity will gain an added influx of titles.

This will see the casinos of Sky Vegas and Sky Bingo integrate games such as Flippin Rich LuckyTap, Break the Bounty LuckyTap and Test Your Strength LuckyTap, which is undertaken via Light and Wonder’s OpenGaming platform. DWG vows that additional titles will be available over the coming months.

Chrissy Ellard, Sky Betting & Gaming Content Manager, added: “We are delighted to announce our collaboration with DWG. In particular, the launch of their Lucky Tap portfolio will provide our Sky Vegas and Sky Bingo customers with a new and exciting way to play content.

“We are proud to be the UK’s number one online casino and believe the launch of DWG’s legacy content portfolio, and their future roadmap, will help us continue to innovate our content offering and further drive our player experience.”

In recent weeks, DWG has adopted something of a US focus, via alliances with Rush Street Interactive, Caesars and DraftKings targeting Michigan and Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut, respectively. The supplier is also regularly featured in the Eilers-Fantini monthly online performance report.

The group entered the UK in May 2020 alongside Betfred, with a string of tie-ups having ensued alongside the likes of William Hill, Boylesports, NetBet and BetVictor.

“Joining forces with Sky Betting & Gaming is an incredibly significant milestone for DWG,” commented Troy Zurawski, CEO and founder of DWG.

“Their prominence and influence in the UK gaming market are second to none. This collaboration allows us to present our games to a vast and passionate audience, showcasing our dedication to pushing boundaries and setting new standards in igaming.”

Design Works Gaming has entered the igaming market of Connecticut via a partnership with DraftKings.

Through the deal, online casino titles from DWG’s studio are now live to DraftKings customers in the Constitution State.

Premium LuckyTap titles and Vegas-style slots are available through the partnership via Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming platform, such as 10X Fortune and Break the Bounty LuckyTap, with additional titles to come.

“Expanding into each US market comes with its own set of complexities,” commented Troy Zurawski, CEO and Founder of DWG.

“Our team knows how to navigate the regulatory landscape, understands local preferences, and tailors our games to meet the specific needs of Connecticut players.

“By collaborating closely with DraftKings, we’re ready to bring the same elevated content and playing experience to Connecticut that we have to New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania.”

Following the entry into Connecticut, DWG titles are live in four US states in total – Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania – partnering with the likes of Rush Street Interactive, Caesars Entertainment, BetMGM as well as DraftKings.

DWG also recently entered into a collaboration that will see Playtech, and the group’s Eyecon games developer subsidiary, licence the LuckyTap mechanic.

The studio is also licenced in the UK market and is partnered with several brands such as Rank Interactive, Betfred, Boylesports, BetVictor, 888 and NetBet.

Design Works Gaming has disclosed a third partnership extension of the year alongside Rush Street Interactive, with the igaming content developer set to gain a deepened foothold in the US digital domain.

This will see the studio strengthen its presence in Pennsylvania’s online casino ecosystem, which follows similar such agreements being inked with the operator New Jersey during March and Michigan last month.

Richard Schwartz, CEO of Rush Street Interactive, said: “RSI is pleased to expand our partnership with DWG.

“Since we have previously launched these games at BetRivers in Michigan and New Jersey, we are confident that our players at BetRivers in Pennsylvania will also enjoy playing the exciting titles.”

In a bid to gain a “significant foothold” in the market, RSI’s BetRivers brand will gain access to a suite of games that includes LuckyTap titles and an array of slots offerings.

Test Your Strength LuckyTap and Molten Hot 7s are among those that are now live via Light and Wonder’s OpenGaming platform, with additional titles being strategically rolled out over the coming months.

“Our team has poured countless hours of hard work and expertise into understanding the intricacies of the Pennsylvania market, meticulously crafting our roadmaps to meet the specific needs and preferences of the BetRivers players in this dynamic region,” commented Troy Zurawski, CEO and founder of DWG.

“Partnering with RSI, a well-respected and leading gaming operator in this state, we recognise the immense potential that Pennsylvania holds, and we are poised to make a lasting impact.

“With the incredible partnership we’ve already built with RSI in Michigan and New Jersey, together we will push the boundaries of innovation and deliver the excitement that Pennsylvania players crave.”

Design Works Gaming has entered into a collaboration that will see Playtech, and the group’s Eyecon games developer subsidiary, licence the LuckyTap mechanic.

This will see the mechanic become integrated with instant win games, including Fluffy Favourites, with Eyecon, which was acquired for £50m in early 2017, and Playtech also afforded the possibility to design and develop fresh titles utilising LuckyTap.

Jordan Rosamond, Head of Product at Eyecon, said: “DWG have created a really exciting product with LuckyTap and have completely re-invented the instant win game experience.

“We are thrilled to be the first external studio to be able to create a LuckyTap game. The opportunities this opens up for game development are huge, and we can’t wait to start releasing new games with this innovative mechanic.”

LuckyTap aims to remove the complexity from gaming mechanics, with the developer previously stating that it was aiming to introduce a “complete departure from the mundane symbol matching mechanics typical of slots”.

In addition to featuring prominently in a series of Eilers-Fantini Online Game Performance Reports, previous collaborations have also been entered into alongside BetMGM, William Hill and Golden Nugget Online Casino, to create exclusive titles centred around the mechanic.

Earlier this year, DWG noted that it boasted a portfolio of 30 LuckyTap games in the US and UK market, with 15 new titles slated to be released during the course of the next 12 months. Talks were also said to be ongoing with “several major brands”.

“LuckyTap is a proven game-changer for the online casino industry. We’re thrilled to be licensing it to Eyecon, a company with a reputation for innovation in igaming,” added Troy Zurawski, founder and CEO of Design Works Gaming.

“With this partnership, we believe LuckyTap will continue to revolutionise the landscape of online casino, offering players a more engaging and interactive experience than ever before.”

Design Works Gaming is looking to make further headway into the New Jersey online casino ecosystem after teaming up with Caesars within the Garden State.

Following a Michigan facing alliance being disclosed as the past year drew to a close, this extended collaboration will see the igaming studios suite of content bolster a pair of sites, namely Caesars Sportsbook & Casino and the recently relaunched Tropicana Online Casino.

Under the terms of what has been hailed as a “milestone” moment, slots such as Break the Bounty LuckyTap, Flippin Rich LuckyTap, Panda Queen and more, will strengthen the aforementioned offerings.

The integration will be delivered via Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming platform, with an additional array of games set to be rolled out over the course of the coming months.

Troy Zurawski, DWG CEO, said: “Since our successful launch with Caesars in Michigan at the end of last year, we’ve moved swiftly to develop this partnership into a second state via two more iconic brands.

“Caesars and DWG are a powerful combination that melds an operator with huge reach and audience appeal with the best-performing games in regulated US markets. This momentum isn’t letting up anytime soon.”

Design Works Gaming has expanded its partnership with Rush Street Interactive into a second US state, with players in Michigan set to access the igaming developer’s suite via the BetRivers brand.

Among the titles to be included as part of the integration are the Double Fancy 7s, 10X Fortune and Break the Bounty LuckyTap slot games that have been integrated via the Light & Wonder OpenGaming platform. Additional titles will be rolled out across the coming weeks and months.

Richard Schwartz, Rush Street Interactive Chief Executive Officer, said: “Since we first launched in Michigan, our customers have come to expect a world-class online casino experience that provides access to the most exciting games in the market through our BetRivers platform.

“We are excited to expand our partnership with DWG and to further enhance our offering to BetRivers players in the market.”

This comes just a handful of months after DWG debuted its first slot titles via BetRivers in New Jersey, an agreement that is said to have superseded expectations.

Troy Zurawski, DWG CEO, added: “Since we first launched with RSI earlier this year, performance has far exceeded our expectations.

“RSI knows their player base inside and out and together we’ve been able to provide casino games we know are going to resonate with their customers keeping them engaged and entertained. We’re excited to bring this same strategic content to Michigan!”

Earlier this month, Rush Street Interactive stated that it is “on track” towards profitability following improvements in the first quarter of 2023 in adjusted EBITDA and net loss.

CEO Richard Schwartz defined the quarter’s results as “excellent” as the company saw its revenues rise across several areas during the period, including significant growth in Latin America.

DWG is expected to add additional titles to the RSI deal in the coming months, while the operator will make the provider’s content accessible to more players in other regulated US markets over the next year.
